The Brunei Youth Council presented 10 units of laptops to support the Device Donation Campaign conducted with the cooperation of the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications and the Ministry of Education.
The donations were handed over by Yang Berhormat Dayang Khairunnisa binti Awang Haji Ash'ari, Member of the Legislative Council and were received by Awang Mohamamd Norilham bin Haji Jais, Acting Director of the Department of Co-Curriculum Education. Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam, BIBD staff donated over 6 thousand dollars for the sponsorship collection campaign to purchase laptops organised by the Brunei Youth Council and #Infaq1Programme.
Meanwhile, Belia Masjid Prihatin 2.0 handed over donations yesterday for frontliners as a show of support towards their efforts in curbing COVID-19 transmission in the country. 50 food packs were delivered to the Lumut Camp Third Battalion Isolation. The Belia Masjid Prihatin 2.0 programme is an initiative by active mosque youths in the country.
