A similar ceremony was also held by former students of Jalan Muara Sixth Form Centre, class of 1975 to 1978. The event that was held as a show of love and loyalty towards His Majesty took place on 18th September afternoon, at Suri Seri Begawan Raja Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque in Kampung Manggis/Madang.

The function began with the recital of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohammad Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office as the event’s Co-Chairman and former student of Jalan Muara Sixth Form Centre. This was followed by Al-Quran reading by 50 participants comprising the centre’s former principals, teaching staff and students.
