Kelupis remains a Favourite Aidilfitri Dish

Kelupis is among the traditional delicacy that is still maintained and served during Hari Raya until today. There is encouraging demand for Kelupis, and a majority of the Brunei population make Kelupis as a main dish.

Made out of coconut milk, glutinous rice and 'nyirik' leaf as a wrapper, Kelupis is among the must have menu for certain events including Aidilfitri. Although there are different types of traditional cakes that are almost similar to Kelupis, Kelupis has a different taste than the rest.

In line with the changing time, there is innovation in making Kelupis. The said delicacy is now available as a frozen food product.
