Aspects of language, discussion and findings of a comparative study on race and language in four countries namely Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, are among the topics presented at the International Congress of Malay Language, Literature and Culture Series in conjunction with Language Month, KABSBM. The 17th presentation series was held yesterday morning virtually and organised by the Language and Literature Bureau through the Language Construction and Development Division.

The presentation featured a speaker from Singapore, Doctor Mohamed Pitchay Gani bin Mohamed Abdul Aziz, Singapore Language Researcher and Observer. One hundred and 34 people participated in the congress including Awang Suip bin Haji Abdul Wahab, Acting Director of Language and Literature Bureau and participants from abroad. Implemented in series from 16th of March to 22nd of June 2022 with the presentation of working papers twice a week, the congresses bring together experts in language, literature and culture at the international and national levels.
