The International Congress of the Malay Language, Literature and Culture series in conjunction with Language Month organised by the Language and Literature Bureau continued yesterday morning. Held virtually, it was conducted by the Language Construction and Development Division.

This 8th presentation series featured a speaker from the Jakarta Art Institute, Indonesia. The Congress, among others discussed the literary aspect with the title "Culture Crossing the Road: Malay Classical Stories in Picture Stories". Among those described in the presentation included the transition of the vehicle of classical Malay stories presented orally to stories in the form of pictures in line with the development of technology such as media, television and the internet.
