The excellence of an organisation is highly dependent on performance, quality of work and high work productivity as well as the good values and moral principles that every officer and staff in the organisation should possess. Any organisation that possess officers and staff who have a high sense of responsibility, diligent and dedicated as well as able to function as a team, can certainly be able to perform all the tasks entrusted quickly, efficiently, well and fulfilling as well as can achieve the desires and wishes of customers.

The Minister of Development urged new officers to always be diligent and committed in their respective tasks by providing the best and high quality services. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Engineer Awang Haji Suhaimi bin Haji Gafar stressed the matter at the Induction Course Certificate Presentation Ceremony for newly recruited Division ll Officers at the Ministry of Development and the Departments under it, yesterday morning.

The Minister of Development said that as the engine of Public Service, the officers should not be complacent with what has been achieved. They should think positively and be proactive as well as be adaptive and responsive to change including the rapid technological developments and progress brought about by 4.0 Industrial Revolution. The 4.0 Industrial Revolution is not only a challenge for them but is also an opportunity to be explored and benefited fully towards ensuring the country's sustainable development and prosperity.

At the ceremony, 59 newly recruited Division two officers received certificates after completing the 7-day induction course. Also present was Dato Seri Paduka Architect Awang Haji Marzuke bin Haji Mohsin, Deputy Minister of Development.
