An Indonesian man was sentenced to 8 months imprisonment and 3 whippings for an offence under Section 15-1 of the Immigration Act, Chapter 17.

40-year-old, Arif Fianto, holder of passport number U849358 was found guilty for overstaying in the country after his visit pass expired for 3,355 days.
