5 individuals from the Asnaf Zakat or eligible Tithe recipients who were successful in the field of Entrepreneurship yesterday morning received awards at the Ilal Hijrah Ceremony in conjunction with the Hijrah New Year Celebration. The ceremony took place at the International Convention Centre in Berakas.

Present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs. The ceremony was enlivened with the Ilal Hijrah Forum delivered by Aydarus Ahmad Alhabshi, an invited speaker from the Republic of Singapore. Also present was Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs.

With the theme, ''Bersabar, Berikhtiar, Bertawakkal dan Berdoa menghadapi Ujian: Memacu Wawasan Negara", or Patience, Endeavour, Trust and Supplicate in facing Tests: Driving the Wawasan Negara, the ceremony highlighted the migration and success of several tithe recipients. The ceremony ran concurrently with the presentation of several appreciations and recognition to the recipients who have successfully improved their lives through training programmes and aid distribution from the Islamic Religious Council as well as students from the tithe recipients group and under the National Welfare System who excelled in education as well as Appreciation and recognition to the Ministry of Religious Affairs strategic partners who worked together in developing the recipients.
