Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA, through the Faculty of Islamic Technology, yesterday morning held a Hybrid International Conference on Current Trends in Islamic Technology, Through Research and Innovation in conjunction with the Brunei Mid-Year Conference and Exhibition, MYCE 2022. The launch took place at the International Convention Centre.

The launching ceremony was officiated by His Excellency Professor Doctor Hamit Eroy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Brunei Darussalam. The conference included a keynote speech titled "Teknologi Islam Anjakan Paradigma dalam Sains dan Teknologi" or Islamic Technology, Paradigm Shifts in Science and Technology, delivered by Yang Berbahagia Dato' Professor Doktor Mohammed Rafiq bin Dato' Abdul Kadir from Universiti Teknologi, Malaysia.
