High Tea Reception in Conjunction with His Royal Highness The Crown Prince’s 46th Birthday Celebration

His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab. Rahaman, this afternoon, graced the High Tea Reception in conjunction with His Royal Highness' 46th Birthday Celebration. The Hi-Tea Reception which was hosted by the Ministry of Defence and Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF, was held at the Officers' Mess, Bolkiah Garrison. Accompanying His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri was His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah.

Upon arrival, the Crown Prince and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri were greeted by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Second Minister of Defence and Major General Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Commander of RBAF.

His Royal Highness interacted with the officers and personnel of the RBAF, as well as the outgoing personnel who will be retiring in 2020; Brunei Darussalam's 15th International Monitoring Team to Mindanao, Republic of the Philippines; the RBAF personnel embedded under the Malaysian Battalion 850-6, MALBATT 850-6 for the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon, UNIFIL; medal winners at the 26th ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet 2019 in Bandung, Republic of Indonesia; the RBAF Commendation Award recipient of the Ninth RBAF Command and Staff Course 2019; the RBAF personnel who received awards of excellence while studying at Politeknik Brunei and IBTE; medal winners at the 2019 SEA Games in the Republic of Philippines; and newly commissioned officers who received awards of excellence during the recent Sovereign's Parade Ceremony for the 18th intake of officer cadets, the RBAF Officer Cadet School.

His Royal Highness then received a photobook album titled 'Sejambak Ristaan the 13th'. His Royal Highness then signed a Commemorative Parchment. At the reception, His Royal Highness was also presented with a birthday cake and a pesambah from members of the RBAF.

To bless the ceremony, a Doa Kesyukuran was read by Commander Haji Ainolnizam bin Haji Ibrahim, Head of the RBAF Religious Department. Prior to departure, His Royal Highness and Her Royal Highness and members of the Royal Family received Junjung Ziarah from the officers and personnel attending the reception.

His Royal Highness was born on 17th February 1974 at the Istana Darul Hana. His Royal Highness always aware on the current development and RBAF's welfare as well as plays a vital role in enhancing the image of RBAF.
