The first round of the HECAS 2022 online application to local Higher Education Institutions namely Universiti Brunei Darussalam, UBD; Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA; Universiti Teknologi Brunei, UTB, Politeknik Brunei and the Brunei Government Overseas Scholarship under the Department of Scholarship Management, Ministry of Education for the academic year 2022/2023 will commence today, 5th of January 2022 at 8:30 in the morning. It will be closed on the 5th working day after the result announcement of GCE A Level November 2021, and the actual date will be announced later in the HECAS portal.

The programme levels offered are Level 5 Diploma, Higher National Diploma and first Degree programmes. The HECAS online application is open for holders of valid Brunei Darussalam issued identity cards which are yellow, purple or green.

Applicants are allowed to use their predicted results to apply to Higher Education Institutions or for Overseas Scholarship.  They will receive a conditional offer upon meeting the entry requirement set by the institution concerned.

Before the HECAS closing date, applicants are required to settle overdue payments through BIBD Mobile Application or by cash at the payment counter located at the Tutong Sixth Form Centre or the Sultan Hassan Secondary School, Temburong, and fulfil requirements stated in the Institution Checklist.
