The COVID-19 Steering Committee also informed several other updates. Taking into account the changes to the health protocol that currently allow those with a red QR code on the BruHealth app to leave home provided they have a negative ART test result and have uploaded the result to the BruHealth app, food rations will be given to COVID-19 positive cases who have a purple BruHealth code and for those who apply for food assistance only.
With the cessation of Early Endemic Phase on 31st May 2022, and the situation of COVID-19 infections in the country has become stable, the COVID-19 Relief Fund will be closed beginning 15th June 2022.
The COVID-19 allowance to frontliners is hereby discontinued starting 1st June 2022. However, the allowance is still provided for volunteers.
The daily Ministry of Health's Press Conferences will be conducted weekly and is set to be held every Monday starting 13th June 2022. An information dashboard on the COVID-19 situation will be publicised daily on the Ministry of Health's website or any other platforms to continue to provide up-to-date information to the public.
