As one of the main activities under the Brunei Malay Cultural Arts and Literature Festival in conjunction with the Language Month 2022 Celebration, 6th September morning, saw the launching of the 'Gala Aspirasi Seni' or Arts Aspiration Gala 2022. Organised by the Language and Literature Bureau, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports through the Literature and Magazine Division, the Gala is held until this Thursday at Balai Sarmayuda, Language and Literature Bureau, Old Airport, Berakas.

Present was Doctor Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Culture at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. In his speech, Awang Suip bin Haji Abdul Wahab, Acting Director of Language and Literature Bureau said that the Gala Aspirasi Seni is among the strategic efforts to gather and unite the writers and arts enthusiasts associations towards elevating the use of the Malay Language. Themed 'Tradisi. Inovasi. Kreativiti' or Tradition Innovation Creativity, the Gala highlighted various literary activities. It was inline with the Bureau's initiative to encourage society's involvement in perpetuating and raising the value of traditional and modern literary arts.
