Flag Hoisting Ceremony

National flag hoisting ceremonies and distribution of the national flag were also held in the four districts. In the Brunei Muara District, the ceremony was held at the parking area of the Brunei Muara District Office in Berakas.

The handing over of the National flag to the Royal Brunei Police Force was officiated by Awang Misle bin Haji Abd Karim, Brunei Muara District Officer.

The ceremony continued with the distribution of flags and presentation of certificates of appreciation to penghulu, association members, private sector and Non-Governmental Organizations, NGO. Also present were members of the Legislative Council.

In Temburong District, the ceremony took place at the Wharf Area of Bangar Town, Temburong. The handing over of the flag to the Royal Brunei Police Force was officiated by Pengiran Muhammad Ameer Mubaarak bin Pengiran Haji Hashim, Temburong District Officer.

The ceremony continued with the presentation of flags to the Acting Penghulu Mukim in Temburong District and Heads of Temburong District Branch.

In Belait District, the ceremony was also held at Taman Persiaran Menara Cendera Kenangan. Awang Haji Amirol Hafidzin bin Haji Muhammad, Acting Belait District Officer handed over the National flag to the Royal Brunei Police Force.

At the ceremony, flags were handed over to the Penghulu and Acting Penghulu Mukim in Belait District as well as representatives from associations.

The Tutong District Civic Centre Complex area was the focus of the district's flag hoisting ceremony. The flag was handed over to the Royal Brunei Police Force personnel by Awang Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri, Acting Tutong District Officer.

The ceremony was followed by the handing over of flags to the Penghulu Mukim, Village Heads and Acting Village Heads of Tutong District.
