Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah stated that the 3 groups are, first, those who lost their jobs where terminations were due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic to the company and not due to disciplinary actions taken by company or the employees resigning on their own. Second, those who are on an unpaid leave exceeding 7 days whether due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic to the company or issued a Quarantine Order by the Ministry of Health and third, those who are self-employed or freelancers. The assistance does not include those who are working in the public sector and Government Linked Companies.
