Facilities and Premises Begin Operation on 19 November 2021, 50% Capacity or Maximum of 200 Users and Staffs

The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports at the media conference also stated that based on the Transition Phase Guidelines, all the facilities and premises are scheduled to reopen on the 19th of November 2021 with 50 percent capacity or a maximum of 200 users and staff at a time. Yang Berhormat explained that only individuals with complete vaccination and a green or yellow BruHealth code are allowed to work at and use the facility. Meanwhile, premises under the purview of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports will operate according to working hours and specified hours on Fridays and Sundays, while private owned facilities are allowed to operate according to the stipulated hours.

Yang Berhormat added that for Indoor and outdoor sports facilities, the period of use of the facility is unlimited. Usage are allowed for single, double or paired sports as well as non-contact artistic sports. Meanwhile, team sports not exceeding 15 people are allowed to undergo training only in which exchange or mixing of players are allowed.

In general, activities involving physical contact and equipment sharing are minimally allowed while Contact Sports are allowed for training sessions only without involving sparring. Tenpin Bowling is allowed for four people per lane with inclusive use of house ball and house shoe. Players are also required to wear face masks at all times. Organized sports or any tournament are not allowed.

For Gyms and Fitness Centers, there is no limited period for its use and are only open for registered members through pre-bookings.

The period of use for Swimming pools are limited to 2 hours per user; and

Operating hours are from 8 to 10 in the morning, and from 10 in the morning to 12 noon except on Friday until 11:30 in the morning; 2 until 4 in the afternoon except for Friday from 2:30 in the afternoon and from 4 to 6 in the afternoon.

Golf courses are open to registered members by pre-bookings in which each flight is allowed for 4 players and the use of 1 buggy for 2 passengers. Players are also required to always wear face masks.
