Regarding examinations that will take place this year, the Minister of Education explained that the Primary School Assessment Examination, PSR which is scheduled to start on Thursday, 14th of October 2021, has been postponed to Tuesday, 16th of November 2021. The changes are subject to the development of the COVID-19 outbreak situation in Brunei Darussalam.

For the Brunei Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education, IGCSE examination; the Brunei Cambridge General Certificate of Education, BC GCE O-Level, AS and A-Levels are still in consultation with the relevant examination bodies. For the year-end Examination as well, it will be postponed or cancelled subject to the development of the COVID-19 infection. The Ministry of Education will share the latest information on the examination from time to time through the Official channel of the Ministry of Education. The media conference also informed that the Teachers’ Day Celebration, Convocation Ceremony, Convo Festival for Universiti Brunei Darussalam, Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University and Universiti Teknologi Brunei for 2021 are postponed to a later date.
