The Ministry of Energy will also consider the use of Floating Solar Energy Panel Technology. Several suitable locations on the country's waters and reservoirs have been identified for the solar technology placement.

The Minister of Energy said to encourage the use of solar energy among the public and private sector, the Ministry of Energy's focus for 2022 is to further expand the Net Metering Programme and introduce the Renewable Portfolio Standards. The initiatives will further increase involvement of individuals and companies in achieving environmental and climate sustainability so that it can continue to be enjoyed by the future generation.
