Entry Travel Pass Requirements

The Minister of Home Affairs also explained that foreign nationals listed in the Travel Green List are not required to apply the Entry Travel Pass for travel into Brunei Darussalam.

Yang Berhormat Pehin said that however, foreign nationals traveling in from Travel Green List countries and intending to work or visit Brunei Darussalam are still required to apply for a work visa, dependent visa, visit visa (for any foreign national who is required to have an entry visa), or professional and business visit visas, first before entering the country, as per the rules that have been in force. Aside from that, they are also required to meet the in force health conditions such as having a complete COVID-19 vaccination.

Individuals arriving from Travel Green List countries are required to adhere to the following updated health protocols, such as Undergo RT-PCR swab test of not more than two days prior to departure from the country of origin or undergo certified ART of not more than one day before departure from the country of origin. Undergo RT-PCR and ART swab test on the day of arrival in the country and subsequently undergo ART only on the second and third day where the test results must be reported through the BruHealth app.

An ART kit with a QR code for this purpose will be supplied upon arrival in the country, undergo quarantine upon arrival in the country until the RT-PCR swab test result on arrival was confirmed negative. Individual can undergo quarantine at their respective homes or hotel accommodation; those who have been infected with COVID-19 and have evidence of infection such as a COVID-19 Recovery Certificate whose date is not more than 90 days are excluded. They are also exempted from undergoing RT-PCR swab test upon arrival and are only required to undergo ART on the day of arrival.
