The Mass Fardhu Maghrib and Isya prayers, reading of Surah Yasin and Special Doa in conjunction with Nisfu Syaaban was held yesterday in together enlivening the night of Nisfu Syaaban. The ceremony was held at mosques, suraus and religious halls nationwide with the focus at Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque in Bandar Seri Begawan.

In attendance was Awang Haji Mohammad Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The ceremony was filled with the three times reading of Surah Yasin, after the mass fardhu Maghrib Prayer.

In the Belait District, the ceremony was held at Muhammad Jamalul Alam Mosque, Kuala Belait.

The Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque in Tutong Town also held a similar ceremony.

In Temburong District, the ceremony took place at Utama Mohammad Salleh Mosque in Bangar Town. Such ceremonies aimed to seek longevity from Allah Subhanahu Wataala by performing religious deeds, seek protection from disasters and blessed with abundant sustenance.
