The Ministry of Health is also busily upgrading the Health Information Technology system and infrastructure as well as striving to enculture health data ecosystem in the country.

Various upgrading projects have been carried out including upgrading infrastructure network at the Ministry of Health building and the upgrading of Bruhims system core infrastructure at Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital is expected to be completed at the end of April this year. Meanwhile, the establishment of the Disaster Recovery Centre infrastructure for the BruHealth system was completed in the middle of last month. The establishment of the Global Data Campus in collaboration with EVYD Technologies Sendirian Berhad in Brunei Darussalam will maximise the use of latest technology such as big data and artificial intelligence.
