Emulating the Moral of Rasulullah SAW

Rabiulawal is the month when a very important and significant event took place. It is the birth month of the Great Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam whose birth brought enlightenment and blessings to the whole universe. Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam was sent as both Prophet and the Messenger of Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala not only for a specific race but for everyone and for the well-being and blessings of the World. For Muslims, there are ways to express love and respect towards Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, including obeying all his teachings and forsaking whatever he prohibits, practising the sunnah or traditions of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam by adhering strongly to the teachings of Al-Quran, reciting the Salawat and greeting upon the Messenger of Allah and following the Prophet's moral. The matter was the highlight of the Khutbah Jumaat or Friday sermon.

In the sermon, the Imam or prayer leader highlighted some of Prophet Muhammad's Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam noble values including patience. The sermon described the Messenger of Allah as very patient and was able to endure the pain and suffering caused by enemies of Islam during the early period of Islam's propagation. In the Verse of An-Anjal, Allah reminds the Prophet to be patient because Allah provides his with help and enlightenment. In the Surah or verse, Allah also asks the Prophet not to be sad because of his people's reluctance to accept Islam and their trickery. Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam as also very forgiving and would never retaliate not matter how much he was hurt or oppressed. In this regard Al-Quran says, be a forgiver and tell the people to do good deeds and avoid the ignorant. The sermon also described the Messenger of Allah as grateful to the Almighty.
