Recovered COVID-19 patients that have received treatment from the Intensive Care Unit will face the effects of COVID-19 in a span of several weeks or months.
The Minister of Health explained that COVID-19 patients that experienced collapsed lung may experience coughs, breathing difficulty, muscle weakness or kidney problems. However, depending on the lung recovery, the side effects may take a while to recover. For patients with kidney problems, they need to undergo dialysis and some of them might need to undergo dialysis for the rest of their life.
