The French Bruneian Business Association, FBBA, yesterday afternoon hosted an economic forum titled, ‘Looking Beyond to a Sustainable Economy’ presented by the Brunei Economic Development Board, BEDB. The forum was held at a hotel in the capital.

Present was His Excellency Bernard Regnauld-Fabre, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of France to Brunei Darussalam, who is also the patron of FBBA. During the forum,  Daniel Leong,  Acting Chief Executive Officer of BEDB and Darussalam Enterprise, DARe highlighted that BEBD is guided by the Brunei Darussalam Economic Blueprint towards Goal Three of the Wawasan Brunei 2035 which is becoming a ‘Dynamic and Sustainable Economy’. BEDB aims to drive private sector growth by encouraging Foreign and Domestic Direct Investment to set up economic activities in the country. Also shared were specific business opportunities within the 5 priority clusters which include Downstream Oil and Gas, Food, ICT, Tourism and Services.
