The First Meeting of the 18th Legislative Council session entered the fifth day yesterday. The morning session began with deliberation on several issues related to the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs highlighted the publication of e-book.

For public knowledge, the Department of Islamic Studies is very active in the online or digital activities, inline with the country's direction towards utilising the digital platform. The Department of Islamic Studies has undertaken many efforts to digitise its services, including text books. However, the text books are also published in the normal way while at the same time some are published digitally online.
