Driving License for Senior Citizen

After assessments and research were made, the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunication informed applicants aged 70 to 85 are now given the option to renew their driving license for a period of 1 year, 3 years or 5 years. Applicants only need to complete the Personal Health Declaration Form provided when renewing a Driving License.

Meanwhile for applicants aged 86 and above, they can renew their Class 3 Driving License for a period of one year only by enclosing a Medical Certificate certified by a registered and accredited Medical Practitioner. Further details on the implementation, will be explained in more detail through the JPD Press Release which will be held in the near future.
