Driving Lessons during Endemic Phase

Under the Endemic Phase, driving lessons and driving tests will utilise the set Standard Operating Procedure.

The Land Transport Department in its press release stated that all driving schools in the country are allowed to operate physically but are to give priority to online learning. Meanwhile, the Highway Code test will be held physically and via online, prioritising those who are taking the test online.

Measures for driving school's re-opening are as follow: Driving training and practical test slots are allowed to operate as usual with no capacity limit; theory classes and Highway Code test will be conducted via online, but are allowed to operate physically with capacity limit of 50 percent for Stage 1, and 70 percent for Stage 2.

Among the SOP's that must be adhered include: individuals who have completed 2 doses of the vaccine are allowed entry into the premise; unvaccinated individuals are also allowed entry provided they take the Antigen Rapid Test, ART and get a negative result. All individuals are required to wear the face mask; scan the BruHealth QR code; and only those with Green or Yellow code are allowed entry.
