74 orphans and 18 staff of the Ministry of Defence yesterday morning received donations from the Ministry of Defence at Surau Ad-Difa’, Bolkiah Garrison.

The donations were handed over by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Second Minister of Defence. The ceremony began with the recitation of Zikir, followed by a mass reading of Surah Yassin and Tahlil. The annual charity event aimed to alleviate the burden of the recipients in preparation for the upcoming Hari Raya Aidil Fitri.
