Bandar seri begawan: His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Malik ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Muizzaddin Waddaulah, as Chairman of the Board of Governors of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, attended a Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony in conjunction with Yayasan’s 33rd Anniversary. The ceremony was held at Dewan An-Naura, Yayasan Complex in the capital.

According to Radio Television Brunei, upon arrival, His Royal Highness was greeted by notable figures including Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, the Minister of Religious Affairs, who is also a Member of Yayasan’s Board of Governors. Other dignitaries present were Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd. Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Defence serving as Chairman of Yayasan’s Board of Directors; and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Hj Matussin, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism, who is a Member of Yayasan’s Board of Directors. Doctor Dayang Nor Imtihan binti Haji Abdul Razak, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Development, attended as the Acting Managing Director of Yayasan.

The ceremony included the reading of Surah Yasin and the recitation of Doa Khas Kesyukuran, led by Yang Dimuliakan Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mustapa bin Haji Murad, who also led the Fardu Asar Prayer. In a significant gesture, His Royal Highness presented a contribution from Yayasan amounting to $BND 100,000, which was equally distributed between Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam and SMARTER Brunei Association, with each receiving $BND 50,000.
