His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam is a far sighted or visionary Monarch and leader who always thinks of the well-being of the country's citizens and residents. By the grace of Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala and under the rule of our just and wise Monarch, various successes and achievements have brought much progress and prosperity to the nation. The country's accomplishments were the main topic in the Friday sermon titled 'Dirgahayu Raja Kita'.

In the Khutbah, the imam or prayer leader said, in more than fifty years of reign, His Majesty has raised and further improved the progress pioneered by His Majesty's late father in developing and advancing the nation on the foundation of the same high Islamic values. They cover areas such as sociopolitics, socioeconomy, religion, health, education, international relations and others. As a far sighted Monarch and leader, His Majesty's aspiration for the country's continued development and the people's prosperity are the highest priorities in Wawasan 2035. No doubt it is a great benefit when a ruler always thinks about the well-being of the country's citizens and residents. Hence, as people living in Brunei Darussalam, it is our responsibility and obligation to be loyal and always support our Monarch and leader.
