The Dikir Syarafil Anam in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul celebration which was held for 12 consecutive nights ended last night. A number of mosques, suraus and religious halls nationwide took the initiative to organise the Dikir Maulud closing ceremony via online.

Joining the virtual ceremony for the Suri Seri Begawan Raja Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque was Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong, Minister of Home Affairs and a Member of the Legislative Council.

A similar ceremony was also organised by Kampung Sungai Besar Mosque, joined by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs.

The Dikir Maulud closing ceremony was also held last night by the Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah Mosque. Participating in the virtual event were Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ali bin Apong, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism, and Yang Berhormat Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.
