An Indonesian man was charged by the Kuala Belait Magistrate's Court yesterday for an offence under Section 146, 1 'D' of the Excise Order 2006.

36-year old, Dasep was found in possessing 60 cartons of cigarettes of various brands during a roadblock at Seri Kenangan Beach area, Tutong on the 19th March. The defendant pleaded guilty and was sentenced to $46,400 or 15 months imprisonment in default. All contrabands were seized to be destroyed.
