Bandar Seri Begawan: A groundbreaking initiative, the ‘Creating Togetherness’ programme, has been launched to ensure that persons with disabilities, particularly those who are visually and hearing impaired, are not left behind in experiencing cultural and educational activities. This inclusive programme invites participants to explore an exhibition gallery and engage in activities provided by the Islamic science programme.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event is organized by the Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah in collaboration with various government agencies and private sectors. The programme was officially inaugurated on the morning of December 3rd by Awang Ajman bin Haji Meludin, the Permanent Secretary for Civil Service Governance at the Prime Minister’s Office.

This initiative is part of a broader effort to make the Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah a welcoming and accessible destination for persons with disabilities. The programme coincides with the Interna
tional Day of Persons with Disabilities and the 8th Brunei December Festival and will run until Sunday, December 8th.
