By the consent of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the Prime Minister's Office informed that control measures announced during the Ministry of Health's media conference on the 3rd of September are hereby extended for 14 days starting Monday, 4th of October to Sunday, 17th of October 2021.
During the two-week period, several additional strategies will also be carried out. Enforcement agencies will increase surveillance and enforcement activities so that the public continues to cooperate in complying with the directives issued by the Ministry of Health. The public are required to be at their respective residences every night from 8 in the evening until 4 in the morning. This is to reduce movement as well as risks of COVID-19 transmission. Exceptions are only given for emergency matters and those who are on duty as critical frontline workers only.
