The Minister of Health explained that cases in these active clusters are those who underwent quarantine after being found to have contact with several previous positive cases.

Contact tracing for all new cases is currently ongoing. All identified close contacts are required to undergo mandatory quarantine and RT-PCR SARS-Co-V-2 test. Meanwhile, 3 cases have recovered, bringing the total of recovered cases to 333. This means there are 451 active cases recorded in the country. Out of the figure, 2 cases are in critical condition and require respiratory assistance, and 5 cases are under close monitoring at the National Isolation Centre. The 7 cases have not received or completed their COVID-19 vaccination injection. In the past 24 hours, 3,602 samples of the SARS Co-V-Two virus test were carried out, bringing the total number of lab tests conducted since January 2020 to 176,110.
