2021 is a very challenging year for all. Various events of love and sorrow were recorded and became history that will be memories, relics and examples. The outbreak of COVID-19, which has not been resolved until today, is a test that affects various daily activities, and also affects economic activities, health and education. Therefore, as a servant, we need to believe that everything that happened is a decree and provision of Allah Subahanahu Wata’ala that needs to be considered so that we can plan better for the future. It was one of the contents of yesterday’s Friday sermon titled ‘Consistent Self-Reflection.’

Therefore, according to the Imam or Prayer Leader, if after the reflection, our duties and responsibilities are well-fulfilled, then we should strive to better it. While if otherwise, then we should initiate changes by stepping up our efforts to what is better. We must practice consistent self-reflection. This is because human beings have many weaknesses and shortcomings and need to be reminded. This is because if we allow our shortcomings to continue, we will find it difficult to see and assess our own weaknesses and be more likely to judge the flaws and weaknesses of others.
