300 students from five local higher education institutions have completed their essential life-skills training under the Petronas School of Life programme. A Closing Ceremony was held yesterday afternoon at Radisson Hotel, Bandar Seri Begawan.

Certificates were presented by Dr Haji Azman bin Ahmad, Permanent Secretary for Higher Education at the Ministry of Education. The programme is hoped to empower youth with greater self-esteem and social-emotional skills as a means to pave their ways ahead as future leaders. The Petronas School of Life which is a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative by Petronas Carigali Brunei Limited is designed for students to acquire skill sets beyond the classroom, which includes collaboration, critical thinking, leadership and communications.
