One thousand kilograms of waste were collected during a Cleaning Campaign on the coast for marine debris.

Organised by the Ministry of Finance and Economy, the campaign took place at Muara Beach Recreation Park, 27th October morning.

Joining the campaign was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy.

The campaign is an initiative to raise public awareness on cleanliness issues on the coast caused by sea debris, especially plastic waste.?
