Subsequent to the recent COVID-19 announcement, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Religious Affairs are taking precautionary measures to maintain the well-being and safety of students and the school community by moving forward the second school term holiday from 12th of September 2021 to Wednesday, 11th of August 2021 until Tuesday, 17th of August 2021.
This applies to all primary and secondary schools, colleges, sixth form centres and private schools under the purview of the Ministry of Education as well as schools under the Ministry of Religious Affairs. All educational institutions are to activate their respective BCP and implement the Work from Home method in line with the flexible working arrangements for all civil servants.
