The change in operating hours of Talian Harapan 145 starts on Wednesday, 1st of March, 2023. Talian Harapan 145 will operate 24 hours daily.
The Ministry of Health in its press release said Talian Harapan 145 is conducted by trained and certified mental health professionals from the Ministry of Health. The line provides four services; namely information on mental health services available in Brunei Darussalam; advise or counseling in dealing with situations or pressures that caused mental or emotional disorders such as personal, social or other problems; emergency services and assistance to callers who are in a mental health crisis that may lead to psychological problems or to commit suicide, as well as advice and assistance to those who need guidance to deal with any mental health problems experienced by someone they know or not known, including guidance and advise that can be given to prevent someone who is thinking to commit suicide.
