In conjunction with the 30th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between Brunei Darussalam and the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam in the country is organising a five day Viet Nam-Brunei Darussalam Trade, Culture, Food and Art Fair, starting on 7th September. The Fair which will take place at The Mall, Gadong aims to further increase opportunities for cooperation between businesses from both sides, apart from promoting culture and people to people exchanges between the two countries. The Viet Nam-Brunei Darussalam Business Matching was held on 6th September afternoon.

His Excellency Tran Van Khoa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam to Brunei Darussalam in his speech said that economic cooperation is among the most important pillars of bilateral relations between Viet Nam and Brunei Darussalam. The two-way trade turnover he said has surpassed five hundred million US Dollar in the first seven month of this year. The Business Matching event was designed to explore cooperative opportunities in the respective markets. According to The Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, some of the sectors that have shown significant increase include the downstream sector, agriculture, food and beverage, fertilizer and chemical.
