​The Brunei Malay Cultural Arts and Literature Festival in conjunction with the Language Month Celebration 2022 ended with a Closing Ceremony. The ceremony was held on 17th December night, at the Balai Sarmayuda, Language and Literature Bureau in Berakas.

Also held was the Brunei Traditional Children’s Songs: Band Competition participated by five groups. Prizes to winners were presented by Pengiran Haji Mohd Hasnan bin Pengiran Haji Ali Hassan, Permanent Secretary for Culture at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. The Brunei Malay Cultural Arts and Literature Festival organised by the Language and Literature Bureau through the Literature and Magazine Division as well as the Research, Documentation and Recognition Division has three main projects including Poetry as a National Treasure, Art Aspirations Gala and Brunei Traditional Children’s Songs.
