Brunei Gastronomy Workshop

The Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism through Tourism Development Department has collaborated with the Institute of Brunei Technical Education, IBTE and Cloudstreet Restaurant, Singapore to organize the first Brunei Gastronomy Workshop. It was held virtually in conjunction to Brunei Gastronomy Week 2022, 1st March.

Chef Mark Tai, 2021 Michelin-Guide Young Chef Awardee from Cloudstreet Restaurant, Singapore was invited as a special instructor for the virtual workshop. It was attended by 17 IBTE students and young budding chefs. Throughout the workshop, Chef Mark shared basic cooking techniques and culinary skills such as Inspiration behind the creation of dish as well as techniques and methods of plating the dish.
