The Brunei Food Awards, BFA is currently in its second year. Since the opening in early June, nearly 100 eateries and over 200 dishes have been evaluated.

His Excellency Christopher B. Montero, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Philippines to Brunei Darussalam has been appointed as the Special Judge for the Brunei Food Awards 2021. Among the restaurants that have been evaluated were Soto Pabo in Kampung Pintu Malim and Rumah Makan Adestro in Kampung Pandai Besi.
