Bandar seri begawan: In celebration of World Investor Week, WIW 2025, Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) in collaboration with the Brunei Darussalam Capital Markets Association (BCMA), is organising a series of initiatives to strengthen investor education and protection as well as financial literacy in Brunei Darussalam. The annual campaign, led by the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO), brings together regulators and financial industry players from around the globe.
According to Radio Television Brunei, WIW 2025 will run until 12th October and focus on three main themes namely digital technology and finance; artificial intelligence (AI) and financial fraud prevention. Several initiatives have been launched and planned to equip the public with practical knowledge and skills. BDCB and BCMA welcome students, young professionals, and the public to participate in the activities conducted to further strengthen their understanding on the capital market and build confidence in making investment decisions.
