The Brunei Book Festival is back this year, carrying the theme 'Mari Membaca'. The theme underlines the importance of loving and promoting Malay language as well as the culture of reading. Among this year's attraction is the 'Taman Tema' featuring folklore illustrations. The 10-day book festival is taking place at the Indoor Stadium of the Hassanal Bokiah National Sports Complex, Berakas.

Over 20 activities have been lined up for the public throughout the festival. The 'Taman Tema' is used as a platform for activities including the storytelling competition.

The Brunei Book Festival is open to the public from 8:30 in the morning to 10 at night. On Friday, it is open from 9 to 11:30 in the morning, and from 2 in the afternoon to 10 at night.
