As part of the 'School Based Committee' development activities for the subjects of Biology, the Sports School Scouts Troop organized a Marine Conservation Talk. Organized by Reef Check Brunei, the briefing took place yesterday afternoon at the Sports School, Jalan Stadium.

The talk targeted marine conservation in particular the importance of conserving coral reefs in the country as well as reducing pollution by single use plastics and the dangers of ghost nets. The briefing also serves as part of the Sports School Scout Troop's ongoing 'Messengers of Peace' initiative to raise awareness on marine conservation.
