In a situation where the world is still facing the COVID-19 pandemic, the benefits of the Fourth Industrial Revolution has opened up opportunities for the community to obtain fast information including digital reading materials. The Acting Permanent Secretary for Strategy and Policy Management at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports shared the matter at the Book Donation Presentation Ceremony from the Malaysian High Commission in conjunction with World Poetry Day yesterday afternoon.

Doctor Dayang Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah also said that the Language and Literature Bureau through the Library Division is actively enhancing the function of the Bureau's Library as a community centre. Earlier, His Excellency Dato' Raja Reza bin Raja Zaib Shah, High Commissioner of Malaysia to the country in his address said that the donation of books acts as a symbol in upholding and empowering the Malay Language. One Hundred 33 books were handed over to the Language and Literature Bureau.
