27 poor and destitute asnaf families from Kampung Kilanas registered with Brunei Islamic Religious Council, MUIB and residing in Kampung Kilanas received donations at the Reading of Tahlil Ceremony and 'Berbagi Rezeki' Programme in conjunction with the upcoming month of Ramadhan. The ceremony was held on 18th March night, at Kampung Kilanas Mosque.

The donations were presented by the Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohammad Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence. The donations in the form of kitchen essentials were from the Mosque Takmir Committee and residents nearby Kampung Kilanas Mosque. Such donations aimed to alleviate the burden of poor and destitute asnaf families as their preparation for the upcoming Ramadhan.
