The Bandarku Ceria programme reopened yesterday in accordance with the Transition Phase Guidelines for Fitness and Recreation Facilities and Activities set by the Government. Under the guidelines, only visitors who have completed two doses of the vaccine are allowed. Activity is limited to leisure activities performed individually or within a group in limited numbers.

A closer look by RTB yesterday morning, saw a number of the public taking the opportunity to cycle and walk during the programme's reopening. Under the National COVID-19 Recovery Plan Framework, only visitors with green and yellow BruHealth codes are allowed. Adolescents and children aged 17 and under, who have not been vaccinated or have only received one dose of vaccine are allowed to exercise in the open, provided they are accompanied by a parent or guardian who has completed the vaccination. Public who visit the Bandarku Ceria programme are reminded to adhere to the COVID-19 control measures.
